Today's Improv make-up class was effortless. Almost no talking, four hours of play. I wrote all the warm-ups and games on the board, plus some new ones, and we did Dealer's Choice -- every player got to pick. We played:
Warmups
Mooshing
Mirrors, Blind Mirrors
Singing -- HiLow, Howlies, MayMeeMah, HeyHo, Drunken Sailor
Circle Pulse
SoundBall, MoveBall
Boom Chicka Boom
Yes-And Ball
Games
Freeze Tag
ThreeStyle Replay
Magic Music (new)
Foreign Movie
Newtonian Motion
SlideShow (new)
Irish Drinking Song (new)
That list looks like recess.
It felt like that, too.

Can't help noticing the pic. It looks like a magnolia but reminds me of the cherry blossom tree I spent so many happy hours in as a child. Thick, pink blossoms, hiding me in my own world away from the adults. Thanks for the reminder!
Yep -- it's a magnolia. I envy you your cherry-blossom childhood.
If you get to spend at least one day a week that feels like recess, you will have a long and happy life.
